MEET THE COACHES
Head Coach: Sam Lewis
I started coaching gymnastics at age 14 in 2000 and have done so ever since. I was a level 7 gymnast and an advanced level trampolinist and tumbler. I cheered for Notre Dame and Spirit Elite All Stars in high school. I attend Missouri State University and graduate with a Bachelors degree in Marketing with emphasis in Advertising and Promotions. My freshman and sophomore year of college I worked as a cheerleader on the NCA Staff. In 2009 I started working as the head varsity coach at Notre Dame High School. About 3 years ago, my family and I opened up GymStars, where we offer completive and recreational gymnastics and trampoline & tumbling classes for all ages and levels. This is my first year at Ursuline and I am very excited for this new adventure and look forward to coaching you!

ABOUT THE SQUAD
Summer Camp:
When: June 12-15th, 2017
Time: 1:00-4:00 pm
Where: Ursuline Academy (meet in Gymnasium lobby)
Ages: Pre-K through 9th grade at UA (split up by age)
Cost: $70 (t-shirt included)
Wear: Fitted shorts, fitted t-shirt or tank top, tennis shoes (cheer shoes if you have them), and hair in a pony tail.
Bring: water bottle and snack every day
Performance will be at 3:30 on Thursday, June 15th
HIGHLY RECOMMEND CAMP IF TRYING OUT IN JULY!

Try Outs
Clinic: July 11 & July 12 from 2:00-4:00pm
During the clinic all material needed for tryouts will be taught!
Try Outs: July 13 @ 2:00pm
Clinic and tryouts will be held in the new cheer and dance building!
Please wear tennis shoes (cheer shoes if you have them), a fitted white shirt, and black shorts. Be sure that your hair secured in a ponytail, your nails are cut short, and all jewelry is removed. Bring a water bottle!
You must have an up to date physical in order to participate. Final team will be posted by noon on July 14th.

Ursuline Academy offers a cheer camp every summer for girls pre-k to 9th grade. Camp is June 12-5, 2017 1:00-4:00pm.
